    Hi Pam,

    I've been cleaning my inbox and came across your message about email address change from Catherine England. I've checked her personal details page --  it's still got her old email. I've left her a comment on confluence and sent an email to check whether she's kept her old address unchanged intentionally or whether she's unaware that she has to update her space on Confluence herself.

    When I did Confluence workshops I explained to participants about email address changes -- they didn't know that they were supposed to be changing anything themselves and assumed that you'd make all the necessary changes.

    Could I  make a suggestion for the future: when you get a message about change of email address, could you alert the sender that they need to update their Confluence space, as per instructions on this page (could you check the page is clear, ta):

    If they don't update their email details, they will continue getting Confluence alerts to the old address and the messages from the mailing list to the new address. I'm guessing most users wouldn't want that.

    well spotted! you're right, it's not there. I'm guessing Andrew's space was setup before the time of the personal  details template. If I recall correctly, the committee got logins early on to access the management space.

    I'll follow this up and fix it as long as Andrew's happy to let me edit his space, I'm sure he won't mind thanks ela

    thanks for the link to the music MSS project last week, I'd come across that one a while back and made a note of it in the digi services work space

    so good you keep this in mind when you're out roaming/combing the web, such a vast space
