Have you had any luck with page permissions/restrictions?

I've experimented a bit and now have allowed another user to create/edit pages, create/remove attachments in my space, remove comments (in addition to adding them, which all confluence users can do already,but anonymous ones can't). At the same time, I restricted viewing of individual pages to myself only, so that stops anybody else from editing those pages.

I went to Browse Space, next to Permissions, then Edit Permissions for the category Individual Users and ticked the boxes I wanted to try out with them. 

So with the cascading of permissions, I've now got the space that:

1. anybody can see

2. confluence users can see and comment on; except for the pages I restricted to myself or to other groups I'm a member of

3. in addition to 1&2 above, my chosen individual user can create/edit pages (except the ones that are restricted, they can't see them so can't edit what they can't see magic!), create/remove attachments in my space, remove comments. There are other permissions available, just a matter of ticking those boxes.

Is that the kind of thing you were hoping to be able to do with another user or are you trying to test the system even further?
