Dont know yet if it's useful to archive comments but I need to reduce their number on my Home page, will keep them here for a while, can always delete them When I'm sure I don't need them.

Dear Ela
yes, I did get the email about the new page on the postgrad / ecr space. Let's hope I've got this comment right too.
cheers

Hi Ela, hope the training sessions are going well. I received a comment from Diana Barnes (during her training) advising she wasn't on the ECR list. I checked and she is already on the 'postgrad' mail list (with an ozemail address) - was it someother list that was being referred to ?
many thanks

Heya Ela,
Is this a better space for contacting you?
Bit daunting the idea of starting something regarding the conference...I tend to be a good follower. For the interests of Confluence, however, I will consider it. Don't hold your breath waiting, though. ![]()
I have successfully uploaded some of my files....for my eyes only, so I am feeling a little more confident with the system. It is a beginning. ![]()
'Till next time,

Thanks Ela.
In the last few minutes you have been demonstating how to modify documents while on th go. Nice one! :-)I am practising the use of emoticons....

Thanks Ela,
I think auto-generated emails are great for small, thematically organised groups (like Research Clusters), but in a group as large and diverse as 'postgrads and ECRs' they might get a bit tedious (assuming of course that we all embrace confluencing a bit more)!
It's good to know that you can bypass it if you want to leave a comment but don't think its important enough to warrant an email to lots of people...

Hi Ela,
I got your email, but I don't understand what you mean about getting 'a Confluence auto email about this comment'. I haven't, either, really explored using Confluence yet. It doesn't seem automatically user-friendly to me, so I need to give it a bit of time.
Regards,

Dear Ela
Thank you, I am really excited about being virtually connected!

Hi Ela, I need some help! I was adding info to Geraldine Barnes' personal space - but seem to have done something to the table template. I pasted the following list into the "Current Research Interests" box, and the formatting just changed. Not sure if it was something to do with the imbedded formatting in the info I pasted ! Would you mind having a look at it please. Kind regards, Pam

Hi Ela, me again. I noticed that on the register of participants, Saliha Belmessous is spelt Salihal. It seems to be ok everywhere else.
Kind regards

Hi Ela,
Yes, I have been 'secret Tasha stuff' on the Confluence pages so no-one else would know.
Yes, I need to update my profile for AEMA...on my list of things to do this week. Told Andrew last Friday I would do that.
I have also just put my house on the market...so don't expect too much from me in the near future!
Hope you are keeping well,
Cheers,

Hi Ela, Nicola's email looks correct, but I have cut and pasted it again here, just in case.

Hi Ela,
Yeah the Unis without comments are the ones that are useless to us. Sorry, I should have made it clearer- I have done so now.

Dear Ela
Just tinkering with my details: even though I wish my name were Julia, it's Julie. I have managed to change some of the Julias to Julies, but there seem to some I don't have access to.
I'm looking forward to the NEER PATS in Brisbane next week.
Thank you

Hi Ela, a little while back you queried the email address for Nicola Parsons. I have received two emails from her:
nicola.parsons@usyd.edu.au and nicola.parsons@arts.usyd.edu.au. I presume it works the same way as the various UWA addresses.

Hi Ela,
Thanks for adding me to Confluence. I completed my Ph.D. in 2004 so if you could add me to the ECR list, that would be great.

Hi Ela
Thanks for the training session with Confluence today.I'm still confused but better equipped now to get myself unconfused when I need!
Would it be possible please to change the abbreviation of the Children Cluster from 'Child' to 'Eurokids'? I hope that will reduce the potential for confusion with parent and child pages in Confluence.
cheers, and thanks, s Posted by Stephanie Tarbin at Oct 26, 2007 15:52 | Permalink | Remove
Hi Ela
Thanks for setting up Eurokids. I've just been looking at the space and there seems to be some other stuff that didn't transfer across, eg. especially a page called 'Children Cluster Records' with 3 attachments. Am I not looking in the right place (before I go making new pages/copying stuff again)? Thanks, cheers, Stephanie Posted by Stephanie Tarbin at Nov 02, 2007 14:25 | Permalink | Remove
Thanks Ela for info on Child/Eurokids.. of course, permissions! I've transferred everythng I can see, but will warn Lesley and Ppip that there personal pages might disappear ... Fingers xed, cheers, s Posted by Stephanie Tarbin at Nov 02, 2007 16:04 | Permalink | Remove
